We fabricate this antenna using 3/16-inch diameter solid stainless steel.
The elements are attached via silver brazing.
The PRO-SERIES UHF j-pole is designed with a weatherproof type-N barrel connector. The connector itself is brazed to the bracket with silver.
Except for the feed-line connector, all connections are brazed with high-tensile-strength silver alloy.
The vertical element is threaded into the center insulator bushing, providing a weatherproof seal.
The tip is lathe turned, inserted into, and then brazed into the center socket.
The antenna has no coils or traps to collect moisture or debris.
There are NO setscrews or ferrules to corrode and require service.

The PRO-SERIES UHF j pole has a workable transmit bandwidth of more than 35 megahertz. It can be configured for police, fire, municipalities, business band, 70-centimeter "ham" band, military, GMRS, FRS, and more. It is shipped assembled and ready to mount. This antenna features the exclusive B-Square mounting bracket that allows the antenna to be mounted on any size mast, using a common radiator hose clamp that is available at any auto parts store. The j-pole works effectively on either metallic or nonmetallic masts, grounded or not.
